We have stayed at Savannah's Skidaway State park since it opened in in early seventy's. Lots of room. good elec. and water. No sewer but good dump station. Close in to Savannah. We go there two to three times a year. Reccommend Reservations.

Second that on Skidaway. Ft. McAllister Historic Park is also a favorite of mine though not nearly as convenient to Savannah.

When in a jam and on the road for a holiday, I'll use the KOA web site and try and find a vacancy. Once found, reservation can be made on-line with confirmation.

Try the Hardeeville RV Park, about 9 miles from Savanna. It is a Passport America RV park. Not much in the way of amenities, but convenient to a sight seeing.
