Hopefully someone with more information will speak up, I can't tell you what it will cost, but I think the fact that it's electronic means that there is no attendant monitoring the toll booths, there is just a mechanical collector that you throw your money into and continue on down the road. There will be camera's mounted to record your license plate and vehicle details in case you try to not pay. And they'll mail you a fine if you fail to pay. I don't think you can get change at the toll booths, so be prepared with a variety of change or you can throw more than what's needed in and the state won't complain a bit!

Not sure about Destin area, but some toll roads in Fl now take a photo of your tag and mail a bill to you. Happened to us in the Tampa area.

We go to Destin area from Pell City almost every month. We like to stay on I-65 through Montgomery toward Mobile-take Georgiana exit east to hwy55 to Andalusia, then east to Opp (I think hwy84). Then turn south on hwy 331 all the way to Destin hwy98. No tolls and the most 4 lane of any route. Hits 98 near Topsail Hill S.P. great c.g.

We ran 65 (Montgomery) to 10 and over to the Pascagoula/Gulfport yesterday(9-12) and ran into a few love bugs on 10. Hoping cooler temps will solve the problem before we have to head back south that way.
