Trip opinion

Hi everybody, so we decided to move to OR from AZ, right now we have the house on the market at a very good price in Scottsdale so we expect to be out of here soon, my question is, when it will be the latest we can drive up there still in safe condition?
We have a 98' Ford 350 dually and we pull a 30' Alfa sun

Head up I-5 and you'll have no problem. There is a high pass along the border of Calif and OR, but, it's open all year.

I think that's what they are asking....Up until what point is it safe...I take that to mean weather wise.....to make the trip thru Ashland, Oregon to California. We took it in the summer pulling a 5er and it is a slow climb. Don't know when it becomes problematic though.

We are in southern Oregon and head south and return during any time of the year but we watch the weather during the winter months. We have overnighted at rest areas or RV parks to wait out a couple of days. Most often the highways are not closed more than a day but we wait until chain restrictions are lifted. So safe condition depends on what weather and highway conditions make you comfortable.
