Trip Planners

Almost everyone here is asking such basic directions that any trip planning app can answer for you. Good Sam's Trip Planner does it all for you (not the only one). Put in your start spot, then your destination, and it maps it for you. Everything. One of the most enjoyable part of our trips, for me, is planning the entire thing.

Agree. We never did an A to B trip and didn't travel on interstates. There's always something better to see along secondary highways and zigzagging your route to work in special things. Of course, if you have limited vacation time you can't do this but if not, try meandering the countrysides and stay multiple places before getting to your final destination.

Paper maps are still the best for examining the areas.
