Question Trip Routes Programs or Apps using Tablets GPS offline

Hello all, I'm looking for an App or program for planning trip routes on a tables with GPS . What works and is user friendly and doesn't need an internet connection. Thanks for your guidance.

I dont know how to link to other discussion threads on this forum, but this is at least partially discussed in the RV Trip Wizard subforum. Scroll down to Top 10 RV Road Trip Apps which discusses a few of these.

I have been successfully using the CoPilot app. It is a paid app but allows you to add specifics about your unit and what types of roads you want to travel on. As long as your iPad gets a GPS signal you do not need an internet connection. All the maps are downloaded

We just got back from our first two week road trip from Michigan to New Mexico. I used Sygic GPS and Navigation on my IPad with a Bluetooth GPS . It worked fantastic also showing distances to the next gas station. It cost about $15.00. When crossing Texas and Oklahoma it was nice to know where I could fuel up.

Safe travels

I've used Sygic to go all over, to include Canada and Alaska, and it's been great. I even upgraded to the full subscription for it.
