A group (5 or 6 RVs) are going to travel to Alaska from CA - would love any tips, advice, places to see and rules or laws to be aware of on the journey, we will be leaving CA toward the end of May and want to know all we can find out. Know of any good blogs or Alaska travel posts to bookmark?? Thanks to anyone, Darlene

We planned the grand Alaska trip for last summer and this year; but something got in the way;so maybe next summer.
We used the Milepost, Churches camping guide, and the Alaska, BC. Yukon and Alberta web sites.
The 3 blogs below are the best I have found, all are from 2011, give great info on roads, where to stay, what to do and what to avoid.
Cool Judy departed from CA this year and may be pre running your trip for you?
