I'd say perhaps take I-10 East to I-25 North at Las Cruces to Denver, then I-76 to I-80 East to Des Moines, then I-35 North all the way to Hwy 9 West to Forest City.

Hope this helps!

Safe travels, and congrats on the Tour!!

W.D.

Oklahoma will give you no weather problems this time of year - usually.

1) via I-10 to I-25 north to 350 north to I-76 and I-80 east is 1639 miles

2) via I-10 to Las Cruces, NM to 70/54 north to Wichita, Kansas then NE on I335 to Kansas City and north on I-35/69 to Forest River is 1515 miles
