We will be camping near Tucson this week and want to go north afterward. I am thinking of going up to Globe via 77 and then over to Show Low and St. Johns via 60 to 191 and then north. Is that road ok for motor home travel? I was told that there are some heavy grades and tough going on the way. Thanks.

There are some elevation changes there, but the route is worth it in my opinion. The Salt River Canyon is awesome.

We were in Globe yesterday and noticed that Highway 77 had construction and had closures during the day. You might want to check the adot website prior to driving.
