US-1 Monterey to Felton OK?

I'm leaving Monterey, CA today for Felton which is just north of Santa Cruz. Is that stretch of US-1 ok for a 35ft class A pulling a car?

I assume you are going to take Hwy 9? I have done it with ours but not towing and it was CRAZY tight. You may have a "little" more joy taking Mt. Hermon Rd. but either way they are one of the very few roads that I felt was a white knuckle drive (this coming from someone that doesn't understand all the whining is about Hwy. 190 into Death Valley)

I grew up on that stretch of highway. It will get tighter as you get closer to Felton from Santa Cruz. Take it slow and you will be fine,
I dont live there any more, but honk your horn as you pass the Rio Del Mar exit for me, please!!

Must have had some powerful quakes in that area recently, to move US-1.

Ok... should have written CA-1, but most folks knew what I meant (lol). It was fine... took CA-1 to Hwy 17 N, then Hermon Rd exit to Felton. Very pleasant drive.

Thanks to all who responded!
