Hi,

Is anyone familure with route US 21 north from I-77 to the Blue Ridge Parkway?

I will be in a 32 Adventurer and I usually get on the Parkway at Ashville NC and drive up the Parkway to Doughton Park, but this year I want to go up I-77 to US 21.

I would appreciate any information.

Thanks,

Ron

Ron, I have towed 21 from 77 to the BRP several times but the last time was probably 6 years ago. My recollection is that the road was good and the grade not terribly severe. At the time, the trailer that we had was heavier than the tow ratings for our truck but we didnt have any trouble.

Have fun at Doughton!

Thanks Lee C,

I had no problems going up into the Rocky Mountain NP two years ago and up through the Big Horns on Rt 14 in Wy last year, so I guess it shouldn't be any steeper than Granit Pass.
