Question US 70 in New Mexico

Has anyone driven from Roswell to Alamogordo on Route 70?

Yes, they wouldn't build a road if no one wanted to follow that route.

It's 117 miles, approximately 2 hours, 5 minutes driving time. You can use Google maps and take a street view virtual trip, or using Google Earth you can see an elevation profile of the route.

I drive US 70 regularly, going from Las Cruces to Ruidoso through Alamogordo. From Roswell it is a steady gradual climb through Ruidoso to Apache Summit. From there, the descent is steeper but will not be a problem. I have driven it many times in both of my motorhomes and pulling my 5th wheel.
