US Route 2 in Montana

Anyone have experience with US route 2 from Kalispell Mt heading east? My big concern is through the West Glacier area. Have had some scary moments on narrow cliff hanging roads that we do not wish to repeat.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

We did US 2 from Everett to St Ignace in the fall if 2014, 35' with toad. It is a great, scenic road all the way across. I don't remember any cliff hangers. It is mostly 2 lane with good shoulders. Have fun and enjoy the trip.
