Hello all, I'am currently in Salt Lake City, UT and will be heading to Cortez, Co. I was wondering if any of you out there have travled on US 191 from I-70 south thru Moab to US 666 over to Cortez Co.? If so could you give me some feedback, any major road grades to be conserned with? I'm pulling heavy and 53' long fifth wheel and truck.
Thanks much!!

I've pulled from Moab over to there and there's some grades to pull but nothing dramatic and I was right at 24K.

Bob,

I drove a 29' class C pulling a mini-van over that route a few years ago with no problems. I was going the opposite way from Cortez to Moab.

We took Rts. 491 and 191 which were a direct shot to Moab.

I just ran that route in a 70' 80,000 semi and do it quite often. The US 666 is now know as US 491, shortest way is I-15 south then US 6 south to I-70 east to US 191 south to Monticello take US 491 east. A couple of pulls on US 6 and most of the steep hills are around Moab. Watch Moab they run a lot of radar.
