What is the easiest, most relaxed route from Houston to Portland, OR?

Hauling a boat, with no trailer brakes, and wondering which of the three google-maps-suggested routes would be the lest stressful...

The route through Denver keeps you out of too many steep slopes to climb or descend in your case without trailer brakes.

I would use the following to compare the three routes and see the differences in elevation along the routes...not just for running.

How far did I run? - Create running maps with On The Go Map

Good luck on your trip. I'll be doing the leg from Boise to Portland over the next week as I make my way to the coast.

Well, today I did the third different route, by going through Wyoming, and the mountains were WAY smaller and not nearly as steep, and none of that twisting and turning. And Interstate highway the entire way.

So I will take that route from now on, and will do it again when I get my furniture out of storage.
