Sounds like a great trip underway.

The Black Hills remains one of our favorite spots.

Correction to MN beer ... grocery stores only sell 3.2 beer ... regular beer is sold in "liquor/beer" stores ... but they are closed on Sundays.

Ok so on a ridge at koa mt Rushmore got rained out last night every piece of rain water on this hill drains thru our site and everything outside ran away or got mud drenched including my outdoor stereo system setup. Spent most of the morning on cleanup met some nice folks from Appleton wi.- park is very well maintained- . Yesterday we hiked the iron river trail and visited the falls around deadwood good exercise got in 7k for the family. Today we visit Mt. Rushmore if my wife ever gets done with her shower???
