Winterize Before Hitting The Alcan To Alaska?

Hey everyone, thank you for checking my post! We will be hitting the Alcan the 19th-29th heading up to Alaska. I am wondering if anyone has headed up this early in the year and if so did you winterize your rig? We both work summers in Alaska and our working season starts the first of May, that is why we are heading up so early. Would it be advisable to just run the gen when we park for the night to keep the bays heated or is it better to schedule camp grounds and use bay heat or will the hight 20's low 30's be ok overnight while we camp? We had planned on just parking at gas stations in small towns like we have done the last 2 years. Cash is getting tight as we head up and want to have enough $$$ for all that cheap Canadian gas they have up there so that is why we are looking for non camp ground options. Thanks for your time!

I have traveled up north in the lower 48 where temps were in low 20s at night and upper 30s during the day with out winterizing. You will be staying in the rig at night running the furnace some of the time so you shouldn't have any issues. Enjoy.
