Wisconsin to Ohio

Planning on leaving central Wisconsin soon. Thinking about taking I90/39 south and when 39 split from I90 staying on 39 until it meets 88. Then 88 to 355. Trying to avoid all the construction on I90 in Northern Illinois. Anyone taken that route. I am in a motorhome with a toad. Thanks.

I you take I-39 south to I-74 east, (through Indiana into Ohio), you can avoid a lot of Illinois and Indiana tolls.

We also stay on I-39S to I-74E. Only 1 stretch of toll on I-90&39 that cost us $4. Then depending on whether we're headed home or not, we either stay on I-74 into southern OH or take I-70 east to central OH ( using 465S bypass around Indy).

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
