wyo. route 120

Planning a trip to Yellowstone in September. Would like to take rte 120 North out of Thermopolis. Pulling a 27 ft. trailer. Is this route OK ?? Are there a lot of Oil trucks ??. What should I be particularly aware of ??

Thanks. I asked because "streets and maps" shows a dotted red line from north of Thermopolis to north of Meeteetse. Can't find out on ST. & Maps what a dotted line means. And why it is RED instead of blue.
