03 Mobile Suites 36' CK3 slide issue

I bought an 03 Mobile Suites 36' CK3 about six months ago and on my last trip the main slide failed to close. After further checking, the brass gear driving the rack assembly is missing a few teeth. There are no markings on the gearbox. The manual says it is a Quickdraw assembly. I need to be able to find some replacement parts but do not know where to look for them. Any help will be greatly appreciated. It does close semi-automaticly-- the wife on the switch & me under the unit with a 1" wrench on the square tubing assisting.

If you haven't already found the suites owners websites, I would suggest you post this on those, www.suitesowners.com, the Drv thread on the Thor forums, or the www.5thwheelforums.com. These are all independent, not associated with the manufacturer. Actual owners are going to be your best resource.

I had the same problem with our HR bedroom slide.. I ended up taking the old gear to a loca machine shop and they ordered one in a day and then ground it down to the same as the original and put it back on the shaft for me to.. look in the rack and see if there are broken teeth stuck in it.. I had to stand on my head under the bed but I found one tooth and removed it and I was able to push the slide back in.
