10' Kayak attached to my Montana Fiver Ladder

I don't want to pay for a fancy hook-up on my Dodge Ram for my 10' kayak. Does anybody have a good idea for attaching my 10' kayak to my ladder on my 38' Montana????

I wouldn't do it but then I have seen all sorts of things attached to the ladder going down the road. There has to be something that can hold onto the seat in the kayak I would think?
