Question 12 volt circuit breakers

I am trying to figure out where my 2nd 12V circuit breaker is located at. According to the owners manual there is supposed to be 2 inline breakers one of which has the reset button on the side. I have found the one with the reset button. Is there even a 2nd breaker for the 12V?

What are you trying to fix? Have you tried the fuse box for bad fuse?

Batteries charged? Battery connections clean and ok? 12 volts at 12v fuse box? Battery cut-off in the on position?

converter good

I took the converter out and had it tested at a local dealer and they got the same results as I did. it is putting out 13.4 volts. My next test is to check to see if there is any 12V going to the CB in the batt compartment. Right now there are no wires coming off of the batteries going to the CB. Isn't there supposed to be at least one wire going to the CB? The only wires going to the CB are the ones coming through the wall from somewhere.

I'm having trouble understanding your problem. I would post this on rv.net under technical issues and see if you can get he information you need. The red cable going from the batteries to the 12v distribution panel should be fused and may be what you are seeing.

I do have a red cable but it is joining both Positive terminals together. I guess i will have to make up a cable and run it to the CB and see if anything happens. As far as a fused cable i do not have one in the batt area. What I have is a CB along the wall in the batt compartment with a reset switch. i need to buy a new one and hopefully that will solve my problem.

Is this rig new to you and/or has the 12v side ever worked? Is the 120v circuit breaker to the converter on and are you hooked up to power?

Thumbs up problem solved maybe

I had a couple of my neighbors come over to help out, one is a retired electrician. Long story short, somebody wired up wrong. The wires coming frrom the convertor to the batt compartment are not going to the batteries. We are going to run new wires on Monday from convertor to batteries and that should solve the problem.
