1991 Travel Villa 5th wheel

Hi I am wondering if anyone has any information on this brand of 5th wheel? we are looking at a 1991 35 foot in excellent almost new condition. Its almost showroom quality and we really love it however in doing research on this brand almost nothing comes up. Could someone out there please help me out as far as the quality of this type of unit and any other information that may be helpful in making a decision as to whether we should actually buy it. I do know the company has gone out of business but thats about it. Thanks so much in advance.

I believe the Travel Villa was an Alpenlite product. On a trailer that age, be sure and go over it in detail for any signs of water intrusion. Also check all of the roof seams and window caulking.

If it smells musty and damp, there is probably a leak.

A update for anyone wondering about this brand. It was only on the market for a few short years. there's almost nothing online for info so I decided to go to an RV dealer and see what they would know. In 1990 it sold for 22,000.00 and was considered a medium range quality 5th wheel. It was outfitted with the best appliances of the time but according to the info we got from the dealer it was made with 2x2 walls instead of the higher end 2x4 walls as you would find in an Alfa. She likened it to the starter level King of the Roads only the King of the Roads DID have the 2x4 walls. After looking through this unit and seeing for ourselves the quality and sturdiness we have decided to buy it. We found it to be a well built and nicely laid out 5th wheel.
