Usual ; and that's the operative word ; weight distribution on a 5er for good handling , puts 15>20% of the weight on the pin.
So 1,000 extra on the unit = 150>200 on the pin.
My last 5er was , scale weights, multiply by 2.2 for lbs.
Scale on the pin 690 kg. Truck rear axle weight towing - not towing
axles on scale 3860kg
So 15% of the 4550= 682kg and scale showed that , I was just over, the factory rec-commended 15% & the truck + 5er, combination handled well, so I didn't shift weight around.
