2002 Holiday Rambler Presidential 30scd

Hello All,

Anyone know the hitch pin load for an unloaded trailer that has been weighed? I have seen a 2003 brochure but the 2 online ads I've seen for 30scd's, that gave trailer weights, were 1,000 lb heavier than the brochure. That leaves me wondering how much heavier the pin load will be than the brochure.

Usual ; and that's the operative word ; weight distribution on a 5er for good handling , puts 15>20% of the weight on the pin.
So 1,000 extra on the unit = 150>200 on the pin.
My last 5er was , scale weights, multiply by 2.2 for lbs.
Scale on the pin 690 kg. Truck rear axle weight towing - not towing
axles on scale 3860kg

So 15% of the 4550= 682kg and scale showed that , I was just over, the factory rec-commended 15% & the truck + 5er, combination handled well, so I didn't shift weight around.
