2003 Cardinal vrs 2005 Everest

HI all,

I new here and also to fifth wheels and are looking to give it a try. My wife and I have decided we prefer the rear kitchen layout and have found two units that are similar in options and layout.

The first is a 2005 Everest 293P that inside is very nice but the exterior is going to need a fair amount of detailing. It has been stored outdoors since new and not under a cover. The roof looks solid and no signs of leaking.

The second is a 2003 Cardinal 29WB...I have just located this unit and have not seen it. The ad states that is is loaded...but I am waiting on a return call.

With that said... Any opinions on how these units would stack up against each other if all things are equal?

Tow vehicle is a 2007 GMC CC SB with Duramax/Allison. No hitch yet but am eying a Reese Elite 18K to allow for a clean bed when the hitch is not in. Any other hitch out there that does not use the standard rails?

Thanks Steve

Sorry no info on the trailer but D&W make a hitch that leaves a clean bed no rails. But since you have a SB you may need a slider depending on the nose of the trailer. Good luck.

I have a 2005 Everest exactly like you are looking at. It is the best trailer i have ever owned. Best for two people. Well designed and great workmanship. You cant go wrong.
