2006 DRV Mobile Suites 36TKS (no 12V power)

My neighbor just go a new to him 5er and when plugged into power 30A service he has power to everything inside and everything works BUT when he unplugs it there is no power inside, no lights no nothing and the batteries are new and have a full charge. Is there a battery disconnect switch that I cannot find or is the converter toast, from looking at it there is no inverter. I had an 03 Alpenlite 5er with and Xantrex 2000W inverter and it had a battery disconnect switch in plain sight. If anyone can help on this it would be great.

Is the battery disconnect switch the problem. Start at the batteries and start checing voltage to see where it stops.

One of the main breakers is tripped. Go to the battery compartment, follow the positive battery cable to the breakers. On the bottom of each there should be a very small button. push each one in and see what happens. If that does not fix his problem, then it is time to get the VOM out and start following the 12VDC from the battery out.

Thanks for the replys.
He changed out the relay with that little button on it in the battery area. So that is the battery disconnect, for real.

Well he put in a new relay and still nothing. It is hard for me to understand that a 5er that big just has 2 batteries and no inverter. Need to check it with the truck hooked up, he had it delivered just got the hitch installed to see if there is any 12v in tow inside. I think he got the big one.

That is the breaker? If it is replaced with a breaker without a switch/button will there not be any 12v to the coach? I could not find a breaker with a reset switch at the local rv dealer. Will I need to special order them from the DRV factory or is there another source?

The main 12V. shut off is in the off door side small door, the level control panel. The silver "choke" looking knob. Then there is a circuit breaker in the battery box near the batteries, a resetable one makes for a nice reset if it trips, any automotive breaker of proper ampere will work but if it blows needs to be replaced rather than reset. Also inside the house in the closet to right of door, is a 12v. fuse box and main 12v. fuse but only controls items getting power from the box not the level up system nor 12v. outside lights.

There is a converter and it is above the batteries in the battery box.

Thanks for the help, will not be able to get with him tell Friday, he works lots of hrs and nights. Will pass on the info.. The converter on this one looks like it is in the main bay behind the sliding door panels. It has 3 plug in fuses and a fan, don't know the make, but I think something is toast.
When plugged into power the silver knob will works the feet front and back, again thanks.
