We recently looked very closely at the Landmark 365 specifically the Newport. It had some nice feature and FWIW, it can be ordered from the Factory with the Mor/ryde IS installed. But in the end we decided to stay with the similar floor plan from Redwood. We just felt that Redwood made better use of the inside storage, but the 365 was really close.

I talked with Tom Montague, who oversees the Landmark division of Heartland, at the Dallas RV show last weekend. I asked about making the MORryde IS an option, and he said they were working on it, but they weren't offering it, yet. Hopefully, it will be one when we buy in a year or so. I, too, liked the Redwood coaches, but took them off my short list when I discovered they only offer a 2nd air conditioner as an option. I want a 3rd unit as an option. Arizona gets pretty hot in the summer.

Never having had 3 ACs, can you run all 3 of them on 50amp service, or do you have to alternate them? I have been in AZ in July and the 2 ACs on my Suites did ok, but maybe you like it cooler than we do.

Yup probably do.

I have ran all 3 at once to see if they worked , and they did. I was also in AZ where we bought this rig, but that was a couple of months ago, so only 1 a/c unit was needed, and that was just for about an hour. And to answer your question, yes in fact I do like to be cool when it's hot out. I also like the fact that if I need it to be cool inside (to me) I can accomplish that. I'm sure I will find out soon enough during our stay in Fl,Tn,Nc,KY and so on, during the summer.

Most Landmark owners who fulltime replace the OEM springs and axles with 8K lb Mor-Ryde IS and disc brakes.
While this does not officially change your CCC it certainly gives you a larger cushion of capacity and CCC to play with while maintaining safe and confident towing
I suspect if HL Landmark officially offered Mor-Ryde IS as an option it's CCC would more closely equal DRV's CCC
I am thrilled with how my Landmark handles with the Mor-Ryde system still at a lower cost point than DRV.

Before buying our 2014 LandMark we really wanted to buy a Redwood until we look at several up close.
I was disgusted with the over all poor quality of the exterior caulking job. On all 4 units we looked at over a period of several month's at multiple dealers not single one had a clean, consistent, even application of seam caulking on edges of the exterior panels.
Most seams looked like an inattentive 5 year old was applying the caulking with uneven width, gobs, and missing areas all over the coaches.
For me my eyes were drawn to this from 15ft away and I simply could not get past this quality oversight.
When mentioned to salereps the reaction was an indignant shrug of the shoulders as if to try and convince me I was seeing things

That's a positive change for 2015. Our 2014 had 7K lbs axles std. May I ask you what your CCC is for the 2015 Landmark with the 8K axles?
Heartland however needs to make the Mor-Ryde an official options regardless of the complications to really compete against DRV.
Currently they are offering a $600 coupon to 2015 purchasers who wish to upgrade to Mor-Ryde IS post purchase.

Wow only 2300lbs was my first reaction considering 8K lbs axles. but then I looked for the dry weight and found 14900 LBs but a GVWR of 17500 lbs. Wow they sure bulked up the dry weight from 2014.

OTOH
My 2014 has a stickered CCC of 1204 LBs with full fresh tanks (850lbs) and empty waste tanks and a GVWR of 16600 lbs
So with empty fresh tanks my CCC actually would be 2050lbs.

I am curious if your sticker has the same verbage referring to full fresh tanks. With 8K lb axles you would think you should have closer to 3000 lbs CCC which makes sense.

I just looked on Heartland's website, and it shows a GVWR of 18,000 and a dry weight of 15,231. I have it on good assurance (wink, wink, nod, nod) that the GVWR should be listed at 18,500, and maybe will be soon. With the MOR/ryde IS installed, I would feel comfortable with either official rating.

Heartland 365

We are going to look at a 2018 Heartland 365 Charleston tomorrow. I don't see any chatter on these since 2015. We are total newbies and are looking for a full time unit. We will be spending a lot of time in Las Vegas so we can be with our grandchildren and I want a unit that will keep us comfortable.
Thanks for any help.
