2016 Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS

After a long and sometimes trying search we have made a deal on a 30 foot fiver that meets all the requirements we had established. The final hurdle was finding a smaller 5th wheel with a 16 inch wheel option.

The last decision I have to make involves the hitch. The unit has an option for a Reece Revolution pin box. The dealer says they order all the new Jayco Eagle HT 5th wheels with this option. Our TV is a short box and I am wanting the best option. Cost is not the deciding factor. SO does anyone have experience with automatic sliding vs Reece Revolution? Obviously, the backing up part is the most important issue to me. After reading some of the threads on here I am a tiny bit concerned about backing into some of our favorite spots.

I need to get it figured out pretty soon. Any Comments? I appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Just be sure your 5th wheel hitch is compatible with the Reese Revolution/Sidewinder. The Reese hitches and some B&W hitches work with it. That pin box is a great solution for short box trucks. I am on my fourth season, 3 of them with a 5'7" bed.
