2016 Ram Box 7 pin elec connection

Where have you mounted the 7 pin electrical connection in a Ram Box? This is a 2016 2500 Dodge Ram with the Ram Box. The ribs on the side are too narrow to mount box and can not mount between the ribs.

Welcome to the forum.

^^ yeah mine is mounted there also, but OP'r has the RamBox bed.
I've not witnessed one hauling a 5'r yet. You may need a adapter or something for those ribs, but it would stick out further.

OP you might check this post:
Yes You Can Tow A 5th Wheel With RAM that has RAMBOX!

Although I'm not sure where they mounted that 7-blade extension?

2016 Ram Box Electrical

I decided the easiest way to mount the 7 pin electrical was to remove the left LED bed light and mount electrical there. I still have the right side light, the rear cab light and I can remount the LED light if the need is there.
