Us out West,
Thanks for that link. Now I know what one is, have seen lots of these around, just never knew the model name.

thunderbird8,
If the slide is rusted in the out position, how are you going to get it to where you can work on it?

Joe

Thanks guys for all the responses. I have the title now. It is a 1991, it is a 37 foot, I have seen severeal 32 and 35 foot versions of the designer 5er's and they have no where near the storage compartments ours has which also verified that it's bigger than a 32 or 35. I have a new question though. No keys, is there a way to replace all the locks and use only one or two keys?

Keys to entry doors, or also the compartments? You can easily replace each--find a well-stocked RV supply store for the door locks and the compartment locks. Most of the older trailers have two locks for each lockset--a deadbolt and a striker lock. The striker lock is not a secure one, as there are lots of people/service centers with master keys. The deadbolt lock is pretty secure and the service centers don't have keys to them.
Lots of choices on the compartment lock--probably they all have a 751 key that you can buy at the RV store. If you want to replace them, you can get combination locks or 'coke machine' locks to be more secure.

Sure sounds like an awesome deal, I can't wait to see pictures of the restoration.
