5th Wheel Dolly

Has anyone seen this video? https://youtu.be/b734eSPO1gI

It's a dolly designed for gooseneck and 5th wheels. It looks interesting and if legit could save $$ when choosing a tow vehicle

Very bad idea.

The big advantage to having a 5th wheel is that it's easier to back up and can make tighter turns than a conventional trailer. Using this thing makes it impossible (or nearly so) to back up, eliminates tight turns and by making it a 'double' might even be illegal in some places.

It might work if you have a requirement to move a lot of trailers around a parking lot and have only one tug to move them, but even there the difficulty backing up makes it marginal for use.

Looks like it increases the overall length at least 6 ft but you can use your truck bed again.
