I had the same issue, but tried to level the best I could. I think next time, I'm staying attached to the towing vehicle.

Hope you get a better solution though.

You need to block under the front landing legs dependent on how much slope you have so that you don't run out of travel reaching a level plane. Make sure you have your wheels adequately chocked so it doesn't roll forward and off the blocks. You chock the wheels before you disconnect from your TV especially on uneven surfaces.

Cut yourself some 2x10 blocks of wood each 10" long and place them on the low end/side of the trailer under each jack. Make sure you chock the wheels preferably with x jacks. I wouldn't go higher than 4 blocks under the lowest end/side.

First thing to do is connect it up to your truck. Next is get it level side to side. If it's off that way you will need to drive the low side up on blocks. Then disconnect & level front to back using the front jack.
What 5th wheel do you have?

Welcome to the forum.
A new trailer owner should practice coupling and uncoupling a trailer in a safe smooth "level" environment, until they are familiar with how it should sound, feel, and act.

You've not really offered enough information as to the amount of slope, direction of slope, type of stabilizer jacks on your trailer, chocking method etc.

Well, assuming the parking area is high in that direction??

Believe it or not there may be parking areas that are inappropriate for deploying slides, or even disconnecting a trailer from the tow vehicle with out proper cribbing or shoring. Hopefully this is not the case.

OP: Please be certain that wherever and however the individuals who delver(ed) this trailer it is chocked properly and adequately before attempting to connect to it. Parked RV trailers do not have parking brakes engaged!
Be very careful, and perhaps employ someone with more experience to assist you until you feel comfortable with the processes involved. There is a potential for very serious damage to life and property. Please exercise extreme caution.
