These hitches arent like a big rigs, we get a whole big hitch assembly. What do you have currently in your bed and what are you wanting?

My SIL has a 5th wheel trailer and needs to install the assembly that hooks to the kingpin. Sorry I only know commercial trucks. The 5th wheel plate looks very similar to what commercial trucks have. There is a pin on his trailer...he bought the 5th wheel plate (what I call it) from Camping World. They were supposed to install it this morning in the bed of his truck. Somehow the appointment time got mucked up and they cancelled on him. Hes not feeling real confident with them and is wondering if there are options.

Id send him to Peterbilt but he may get laughed out of the shop...LOL

Im assuming then that hes having rails installed and a seperate hitch. Watch a few youtube videos, i would think anyone that can follow directions can install a set of rails. Alot of them actually come in kits that mount up using existing holes. If theyve got the equipment to do the job i would think they should be able to do the job. Its not rocket surgery. If they cant get a hitch installed theyre in pretty sad shape.
