I have AE Slideout Covers that are junk after 5 years. Problems started when they were 3 years old. Dometic (AE) Will not provide ANY assistance.

This is a problem that is well known. Happened between 2003 and 2005. Supplier provided junk material.

Any suggestions what can be done to get assistance. I plan to talk FACE TO FACE at a rally in the next few weeks-they will have representatives in attendance.

Suggestions Welcomed!

looks like you are on the right track. if phone calls and letters got nowhere, then it is time to meet face to face. if that gets you nowhere then maybe a letter to a consumer help group or the consumer help section of some widely circulated RV specific publications.

According to A&E, the fabric only lasts 2-3 years of normal use.
