Air hitch
Looks like their are three production Air Hitches on the market... What is your experience vs a standard hitch?
An air hitch costs about 3 times as much but is it worth it?

Yes, and yes. We had 2 5th wheels before the current one. Neither had the air ride and it's a world of difference. The roads across the US are not in great shape and you get a lot of banging on that front end. With the air ride hitches, it's cushioned and the front of the 5th wheel softly goes up & down. We will never be without one. We have the Trail Air with tri glide

We really like ours. They are so much better built also than standard hitches. Also if trading campers or truck it is transferred to next truck. There is a lot more than 3 though.

So what are the brands or manufacturers of Air Hitched?
Where do you purchase them from?
We are not talking pins.

I have a trail air on my cedar creek and I do like the it soft going up and down.I do have a problem when I hit a bump and the trailer pulls on the truck. Is tri glide added to stop this?

MorRyde pin box on the fiver and a Trailer Saver BD3 air hitch in the truck. I really think the air hitches are a wise choice for the sake of the trailer. They really absorb a lot of shock between the trailer and the truck. It's is bound to reduce metal fatigue on the trailer frame.

Goggle air hitches and you will find plenty. Mine is built like a tank. Comes standard with it's own air pump and keeps it level regardless of weight. They will custom build it if needed also at no extra charge. That's what they did for me. Hitch Crafters, Air Suspension Ride Fifth Wheel Hitch.

We have a Trailer Saver by Hensley. There is a premium Air Hitch called "ET". Its a custom built hitch specifically for your application. Many of the guys pulling with HDT's and MDT's use them.

We have the Trailer Saver BD3, and the MorRyde pin box. It's a great combination. I can't imagine not having the air ride hitch. It's worth every dollar I paid for it.
