I aam currently in the market for a air ride hitch for my 5th wheel. It seems like there are several different models out there. What I would like to know is which one to buy. I need one rated for 20k to handle my toy hauler. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Mike.

I am not an expert on all the different brands of 5th wheel air hitches but I can tell you that I bought one four years ago and have been thrilled with it.

The company I bought mine from has since been sold and moved. I tried getting replacement parts the other day and the new company does not even carry spare parts for the previous company's designs.

Regardless, look for someone that uses reputable air bags, such as Firestones, and one that articulates in six directions (up/down, right/left, back/forth).

Whether you make short or long hauls, you will feel the difference and your back will appreciate it.

Mike, take a look at the Trailer Saver at www.trailersaver.com
We have had a couple of different air hitches and find it to be a excellent product and highly recommend it.
