I'm looking at a short list of mostly older fifth wheels which includes Alpenlite.
Problem is a lack of Alpenlite info re GVWR, UVW and CCC. I'm looking for models max. 14000 GVWR, min. 3000 CCC, regardless of length. Does anyone have such info or suggestions on how to obtain it. Dealers are a waste of emails (about 5% respond with answers to the actual questions they were asked).
Thanks.

Go over to the other forum and see my post. Alpenlite made some fantastic trailers. Too bad the original owners sold out. The Augusta 32RL as I remember had a GVWR of 14.5K. All Alpenlites do require a dually to be safe and comfortable towing.

NADA guides often list the GVWR and sometimes the CCC. I also searched buyers guides and found several Alpenlites for sale - most list the GVWR.

Hi
What do you mean by buyer's guides? Examples?

Hi.

I'm not sure which forum you mean. I think I saw 673 posts next to your name. You did recommend Alpenlite to me in response to another of my posts, which is at least partly why they're on my shrinking shortlist.
I'm looking for a late model Ram 3500 FWD DRW, 5.9 or 6.7 Cummins depending on transmission & gear ratio. Got one?

Hi
I went into the NADA guide last night & compared their listed weights to those in manufacturer's archives where they exist (HR, Jayco, Newmar, NuWa).
NADA weights are UVWs. UVW is useful in that approximate GVWR can at least be estimated. That way you can pretty much know what they can be towed with, but I still need to know if their CCC is 3000# min.
I'd appreciate hearing from any Alpenlite owners who know the CCC and the number of slides on their units. That way I can establish a range of CCC. The manufacturers whose specs I know maintain a similar CCC range over the years.
That NADA guide is pretty useful. I've used it for trucks before but not for RVs. Thanks.

Every year Trailer Life (and others) publish a buyers guide to RVs. They cover all types and most models and list GVWRs (at least the one I found for 2005).RV Search Buyers Guide on the web and you will find them.

Yep I do happen to own a 07 6.7L Quad Cab dually. But it is not for sale unless you want the fiver too.
