Alpenlite Converter Upgrade Question

Hi:

I've been disappointed with the recharging performance of the MagneTek Converter in my '97 29' Alpenlite Spyglass when powered by my Honda generator, so I've ordered a PDI 9270 to replace it.

So, has any of you had occasion to locate the converter on a similar 5er? I suspect it's behind the fuse panel near the kitchen sink. How can I get to it without destroying the cabinets?

TIA for any help!

Greg

Generally the converter is located inside or behind the 12VDC fuses and 120VAC breakers. Take the screws out and carefully pull it toward you. Should come out in one big piece. Be sure to have everything disconnected. Batteries and 120VAC power sources.
