I have a 1993 Alpenlite 27sl. Does anyone know who made the slide motor and screws? The slide is 40 inch. It is much slower than newer rigs. Is it Lippert? How do I find the gear ratio witout tearing the gear box apart? Nothing broke yet but it is old.

Barker manufacturing made the motors for alpenlite's but in your year it could have been another company. Look up Barker and ask them. I have a friend that has a 97 alpenlite. I will email him

Just received the email from my friend and he thinks it might be an attwood product. Attwood had made the alpenlite landing gear before the cheap lippert parts arrived during their late 3 years in Business.

Larry, Thanks for the quik reply. It is a Barker Mfg. I guess I am getting dumber with age. Crawled under and read the label. PN, SN & mod clearly identified. Elect control also Barker. Thanks
