another newbie!

I recently purchased a 1985 Alpenlite 25'er. I've spent many hours on this website, and gained much knowledge. This old gal was in pretty bad shape, and I probably paid too much for her, but I'm enjoying bringing her back to life. Quite a lot of rain damage on the ceiling, so we pulled everything off the roof, cleaned all the old gunk off, scraped it down to the metal (it has an aluminum roof), and replaced whatever was needed. New plumbing stacks, couple of roof vents, new ac cover etc. Used butyl tape under all replacements, then topped with Dicor. Dicor says wait 30 days before top coating with eternabond, so in the waiting mode. Roof structure was the aluminum cover, carpet pad (I think to protect electrical wiring), then 1/4 luan, 1' blue foam, 1/4" vinyl coated plywood. Got all of the old nasty out, dried everything out with the ac, and used 5/8x1" poplar for deadwood to hold new 1/4" luan up against carpet pad. tomorrow I'll start replacing 1" blue insulation prior to new interior ceiling. This is in the living room area only.
