If you are directing your comment to me this is what I said earlier. "I turned on and off the 12V water heater switch"

I requested the kitchen be at least 3 circuits and maybe other things. I have not really got into the breakers yet.

Yep, and I said I hoped you just 'clicked ' it and didn't leave it on.

I have, in the past, turned off and on a switch, and some how the stupid thing ended up on - smoke!

Just a reminder, not a slam.

I guess we are on a separate page here. I have a 12V rocker switch labeled water heater. I switched it off and then back on and when turning it back on the devise pictured made an audible click. I leave the switch in the "ON" Position when wanting the water to be heated by electricity.

Yes, it would appear that I mistook your 'eureka' moment to that of David (Tampabiker). I mistakenly saw your post and read it as David did the click - I thought we were finding what his relay controlled since his is not labeled.

I will keep out of this conversation as it seems I have no clue what I am talking about.

Thanks for straightening me out!

Tim

" I thought we were finding what his relay controlled since his is not labeled."

That is what I confirmed by turning off and on my 12V switch labeled water heater.

Go back and re read the whole post.
