Exactly what I did and I am really pleased with the results! This one scans for stations when we arrive at a destination so we have the news (local) quickly. The old one was .....rotary dial tune with no memory!!! Pretty cheesy for a 2005 model.

This is how I changed mine out. Also I added a Sirius box that tunes through the radio.
