Anyone added a Ground COntrol 3.0

I have an '08 5er and am seriously considering adding the aftermarket Ground Control 3.0. While the aftermarket system is only 4 legs and my 5er is 39' long I do meet all the measurement requirements and my frame rails are 12" I-Beams so I'm good there. I have read what I can find on it and am sure I can install it myself without much trouble. Curious if anyone on here has done it themselves and if so how the install went and if there were any 'gotchas' and if it is working well.

Steve

P.S. I know that for the cost of this system I can buy a lot of 2x12's to use for leveling. While I appreciate that line of thought that is not what I am looking for here.

We had the Ground Control 3.0 installed on our Sundance and loved it. We did have lippert do the install while we were in goshen at a Rally at a discount but still not cheap.
loved the system and they do now have a 6 point system that we have seen on a few newer Fivers while we were looking to buy in May of this year so you should be able to purchase the 6pt for the length of your unit. It is so nice to just push a button and watch the unit do a dance while it's leveling itself. While traveling it's also nice to just unhook and push level then in morning just hit a button and all legs retract..simply put ...A Lot Less Work For me and no more boards to deal with.
We now have the 6pt hydraulic leveling system and would not be without either again.
Once you get it you won't go without again.
