Anyone hear of this brand? sierra by cobra

We are new to rving and shopping around and found what seems like a great buy only $2800. It's a 1993 30ft 5er sierra by cobra. The owner put in all new flooring and new upholstery. Just really wondering if this company has any reputation? The systems seem to be working fine and we will run it past a shop. But any other input would be great! I have been on iRV for about 3months and really enjoy all the experienced input. Thank you!

If I am remembering correctly, this brand of trailer was on the low end of pricing when new, possibly the same place on quality...but I have no actual experience with one.

from what i remember cobra went out about 10 to 12 years ago. we almost bought a 24 cobra mh, which was a 7 seas model, and i think the quality was about on par with the coachman mh that we ended up buying.

I had a '89 Sierra-it was a good trailer until the pin box and frame all broke and tore loose.I do not know what caused that to happen but traded it in after I had the frame and pin box welded. The trailer was 10 years old when that happened.I would advise you to check the frame very well.

I just bought a 91 Sierra Cobra 24' travel trailer. I have searched the web but have not been successful at finding an owners manual. Any idea where I might get one?

A long shot but try the rv history museum in elkhart, indiana. And im not trying to be funny or sarcastic. I was just there and they had a library room full of stuff like that showing the histories of the RV or they would sure know where to find one.
