He says It would eliminate getting flat tires. It costs $ 500. I told him that I was going to replace the tires before next summer so it would not do me any good. So my question is has anybody purchased something like this and does it work or is the dealer just selling me something like green slime at ten times the what I would pay for it at Wally Mart?
Unless he will issue a written GUARANTEE that his $%00 "Fix-A-Flat" will prevent any and all tire failures he is selling snake oil.

As a tire engineer (not a dealer or salesman) I can tell you there is no aftermarket magic stuff like he is offering. You would be much better to
1. Get a TPMS to monitor your RV tires ($300 or so)
2. Confirm the actual loading as covered in your owners manyal(each end of each axle when the RV is fully loaded)
3. Be sure the tire can support at least 115% of your measured load at your cold inflation.
4. Read my RVTire blog to educate yourself on the special needs of tires in RV application.
