I just purchased a 1995 Jayco Designer fifthwheel. The awning is one I have never seen before and I am unable to get it to extend. The arms have the usual arm locks, screw in stops in the back of each arm, plus a rather large spring loaded pin in the fwd side low down on each arm opposit the arm locking lever. The lock/unlock lever on the fwd end of the awing rollup tube is in the shape of a small anchor (which way does it turn to unlock?). Who is the maker of this awning and how do you unlock it to pull it out. Thanks much for your help........Eddielee

Hi Eddielee

Sounds like a Carefree or A&E. The lock on the roller tube should be pulled towards the outside or passenger side to unlock. Usually easily done with the awning rod.

Thanks Dave O - Turns out that it is a Faulkner-Ultra. I was able to download a lot of info on the Faulkner from MarksRV site, including a parts breakdown and instructions. There are limited parts available. Thanks anyway for responding.......Eddielee
