awning rail

I had a new awning material replaced on my Montana 5ver a while back. I never really notice until a week ago that the awning rail toward the front where the awning arm is located is loose, I back out the bolts in the awning "arm" bracket where I could get at the rail screw. it would not tighten, I think the screws are #6x1/2", the awning "arm" support beackets seems to pull the rail out from the trailer side when I tighten the support bracket down. Isn't the awning rail screwed to a aluminum brace inside the trailer? would using #8x1/2 screws help? anyone had a problem like this? any help please?? The dealer that messed this up is to far away to take it back. So..guess its up to me and any help/suggestions you gys can give me.

Have you gotten this fixed yet? Mine is having the same problem except on the rear rail instead of front. I thought of either getting bigger screws or I cut two metal plates about 1/4" thick and was going to mount them to side of trailer and then awning rail to it. Any suggestions?
