Our fifth wheel has a NICE remote controlled power awning with weathershield, but not sure what brand/ model, etc...
since it came on it new and no docs on the awning...

Problem is I NEED some led lites like in this thread:

as shown in the pic below the awning goes straight out @ about 12 - 13 'foot high thus making the roller WAY too high to reach easily without a TALL ladder...

Since I'd rather not carry another ladder than my collapsible 12' from camping world... is there a way to lower the angle of the awning once deployed ?

Not sure if your awning is Dometic or not looked at your picture and can not tell for sure. if it is Dometic when you roll the awning out the main roller should have the model number on it. here is the location for the if your has the dump brackets. Hope this helps.

Looks like a Dometic 9100 series and I don't know of any way to change the pitch of this awning enough to make adding lights ez.

just told all mods are on hold.... she's looking at a new trilogy or landmark or redwood or.... just ANYTHING New

doesn't matter that what we have 90% of the rv'ers would like.... but NO - time to change

dang 3 new vehicles in 14 months and this will be the third rv in the same time period... (glad she doesn't do that with husbands.... yet !)

gonna have to have a garage sale of all the rv stuff that won't translate !
