B&W Companion Settings

I just installed a B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck with Companion 5th Wheel Hitch. We are still waiting for the new Arctic Fox 27-5L so I do not have the trailer to help with the hitch settings. Our truck (in signature) sets a little high in the rear as it came with the factory 4 inch blocks. The Dealer suggested to set the Pivot Arms low and foward. I really don't think that is a good starting place. I would rather not have to go through the hassle of removing and resetting the Pivot Arms while we are doing the pre delivery inspection. I think the clearance between the cab and the trailer should be fine as it is a long bed but I am concerned about distance between the bedrail and bottom of the 5ver.
Any suggestions from B&W owners will be very much appreciated.

Do you have the Companion put together already? Be sure and use the factory-spec torque. If you have to take it apart for any reason, replace the split washers--in this case, they are only good for one use. With a LB, I would locate the arms forward for sure. The truck is going to settle some with the pin weight, but would not use the lowest settings, in fact, I would go with the upper settings. That will get it home just fine. Then you can worry about whether the trailer is level or nose-high.
Until you get used to how it tows, I would be very careful of dips and dips/turns. Be careful of the flange on the pin box and how close it gets to the top of the bed on sharp turns.
You are going to love the hitch once you get it set correctly. I have used it to tow my Suites for 6 seasons, and I'm at near max on the rating.
