Do you have the Companion put together already? Be sure and use the factory-spec torque. If you have to take it apart for any reason, replace the split washers--in this case, they are only good for one use. With a LB, I would locate the arms forward for sure. The truck is going to settle some with the pin weight, but would not use the lowest settings, in fact, I would go with the upper settings. That will get it home just fine. Then you can worry about whether the trailer is level or nose-high.
Until you get used to how it tows, I would be very careful of dips and dips/turns. Be careful of the flange on the pin box and how close it gets to the top of the bed on sharp turns.
You are going to love the hitch once you get it set correctly. I have used it to tow my Suites for 6 seasons, and I'm at near max on the rating.
