Dogs and groceries don't work to good being held down by ratchet straps. I'll stay with the box.

Groceries in the bed??? Never and will not. But you can put sides on them. Wood if you want it. But if every one was like me only cab and chassis would be sold.

I guess I've been doing everything wrong all these years. I don't know how I've survived.

My best friend for many decades decided that a regular pickup bed was not his cup of tea. I tried everything to talk him out of a hauler bed. He wouldn't listen and we have never talked since.

Back to the OP... I have an F350 with the factory-installed 5th wheel package and the B&W Companion and man, I just love it! Coming from a Pullrite SuperGlide 4100 slider, it's night and day. So easier to pull apart and remove (if I need to) and it's solid as a rock. BTW, like Jammer said... I use one of those fold-up steps to get access over the dually fenders and it works great. Semper Paratus!
