We purchased our 2011 Hitchhiker in 2013 from Kansas RV (the former Nu-Wa factory). It has never been titled and was a showroom model, and we got it at roughly 50% off. We knew at the time that they were no longer building fifth wheels, but still provided all the warranty work; between that and the fact that it was too good a deal to pass up, we purchased it and are very pleased with the unit. Three years with no issues, and if I have an issue I can call the service department and they can talk me through some simple things or direct me to the closest repair shop for service.

They have lots of gently used units on their lot - and when they take a HitchHiker in on trade, they go through it and do a refurb. If I ever need work done and I can get to Chanute, KS, that's where I'll go. Who better to perform service/repairs on your rig than the guys who built it?

Bad news for Lifestyle/Evergreen owners

I'll add to the above. We bought a gently used HitchHiker a few weeks ago and traded our coach in. Kansas RV center (the old HH factory were a joy to deal with. They remodeled it for our needs using original wood and cabinet doors and made it look like it came that way. The service after the sale was first rate. When it comes time for something major I will gladly make the trip back to Chanute to have it done right and pay a fair price.
I still have to figure out how to change my signature however.

No telling... Dutchmen makes several towables and this gives them about 100,000 more square feet of space to build in.

Everman RVs. It's the most manly RV out there. Featuring the Testerone Toy Hauler.
